Counseling Services
Clallam Bay School is committed to supporting the whole student-academically, socially and emotionally. Counseling services are an integral part of that mission, providing students with a safe, suppotive space to grow, learn and navigate challenges. We believe that when students feel supported and understood, they are better equipped to succeed both in and out of the classroom.
Individual Counseling
One-on-one support for students experiencing emotional, behavioral or substance use challenges
Small Group Counseling
Skill building groups focused on topics such as coping strategies, emotional regulation, grief and loss, substance use and abuse and peer relationships
Classroom Support
Collabration with teachers to support social emotional learning
Crisis Support
Immediate support for students in emotional distress, with coordination among staff, families and comunity resources

Students may be referred by teachers, parents, or self-refer with staff support.

We connect families with mental health providers in your community who accept new patients, work with your insurance and fit your child’s treatment needs. The Referral Service is accessible to children and teens 17 and under living in Washington state. Teens between the ages of 13 and 17 can also call the Referral Service to find providers for themselves.
